目前您在Vultr VPS或专用服务器实例上部署Windows Server时，可以选择Windows Server Core(无桌面体验)作为选项。与采用桌面体验的Windows Standard安装相比，它采用了更精简的安装方式，占用的磁盘空间和内存更少，对恶意软件和其他攻击的潜在攻击面更小。它还可能更容易管理和保持最新。
如果您是使用命令行、Windows PowerShell或远程方法来管理Vultr VPS服务器或专用服务器的Windows实例，那么安装Windows Server Core将会是不错的选择。
Windows Server 2022现也可部署到Vultr VPS服务器或专用服务器实例中，除了Windows Server 2022外，之前可用的Windows系统版本包括Windows Server 2012 R2、Windows Server 2016和Windows Server 2019。
Vultr目前已成为微软授权移动合作伙伴，可以通过软件保障使用许可证移动来帮助微软批量许可客户部署其专用的应用服务器工作负载。
