神马VPS美国主机商Vultr近日发布消息称，将于10月1日开始对快照（Snapshots）存储进行收费。熟悉Vultr主机商的用户都知道，它先前的快照存储是可免费使用的。但随着Vultr用户数日益增长，全球数据中心增至18个，已部署了数百万实例，提供免费快照存储的成本加大，所以Vultr计划对其进行收费，主要内容如下：
Vultr将于10月开始对快照存储收费，收费反映在11月1日的发票上；
Vultr推出的快照存储定价与其他云主机提供商一样甚至更低，每月0.05美元/GB；
您如果不想存储旧快照了，那么也可以选择在Vultr帐户中将其删除。
为什么要使用快照（Snapshots）功能？Vultr提供的快照存储，可以将您的VPS做成镜像备份，支持由快照镜像在保留服务器所有数据的基础上快速部署新的VPS实例，或在多个机房之间迁移服务器，功能非常强大。
